California regulatory status
Lincoln Trucking School is exempt from approval by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) under California Education Code § 94874(f), which exempts an institution that "solely provides educational programs for total charges of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) or less" when no part of those charges is paid from state or federal student financial aid.
- Total charges for every program offered by the School are $2,500 or less.
- The School does not participate in, accept, or certify eligibility for any federal or state student financial aid program (including Title IV, Cal Grant, WIOA-funded tuition or VA education benefits).
- Because the School is exempt, it is not regulated by BPPE and students are not covered by the Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF). The School's refund policy is set out in the Enrollment Agreement and summarized in the Enrollment Terms.
Questions about an institution's status with BPPE may be directed to the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education, 1747 N. Market Blvd., Suite 225, Sacramento, CA 95834, (888) 370-7589, www.bppe.ca.gov.
Federal entry-level driver training (ELDT)
Federal law (49 CFR Part 380) requires anyone seeking a Class A CDL for the first time to complete entry-level driver training from a provider listed on the FMCSA Training Provider Registry. Lincoln Trucking School's Training Provider Registry listing is in process; students will be notified in writing once the Provider ID is issued and before any training certification is submitted.
Payment and financing
Tuition is paid directly to the School, in full or by a payment plan stated in the Enrollment Agreement. The School does not offer, arrange or refer students to any loan or financing product and is not a lender.

- Licensing: permits, licenses and test results are determined solely by the California DMV.
