3. Enrollment terms (summary)
The complete terms are in the written Enrollment Agreement that every student reviews and signs before training begins. This summary is provided so prospective students know the key terms in advance.
Program and total charges
| Program | Class A CDL Training Program |
|---|---|
| Total charges | $2,500 — the total amount payable to the School for the complete program. |
| Included | Theory (classroom) instruction; Behind-the-wheel instruction on the training range and public roads; Use of a school training vehicle for the DMV skills test; CDL road-test preparation; Job placement assistance. |
| Not charged by the School | Paid by the student directly to the third party: DMV commercial learner's permit and license fees; DOT medical examination; Pre-enrollment drug screening; Required knowledge-test study materials, if purchased separately. |
The School does not collect or pass through any government or third-party fee. No other mandatory fees, materials charges or add-ons are charged by the School.
Payment
Tuition may be paid in full or by a payment plan agreed in the Enrollment Agreement. Payments are made directly to the School. The School does not offer or arrange financing and does not participate in any federal or state student financial aid program.
Cancellation and refund policy
- Cancellation before training starts: You may cancel by written notice at any time before the first day of instruction, or within seven (7) calendar days after signing the Enrollment Agreement, whichever is later, and receive a full refund of all amounts paid to the School.
- Withdrawal after training starts: If you withdraw after instruction begins, the School retains a pro-rata portion of tuition based on the scheduled instruction hours completed, and refunds the balance, until 60% of the program has been completed. After 60% completion, no refund is due.
- Timing: Refunds are paid within 30 days of the cancellation or withdrawal date.
- Dismissal: Students dismissed for violating the conduct or safety rules in the Enrollment Agreement are refunded on the same pro-rata basis as a withdrawal.
- Notice: Written notice may be delivered in person, by mail to 5505 E Santa Ana Cyn Rd #18898, Anaheim, CA 92817, or by email to admin@lincolntruckingschool.com.
What we do not guarantee
The School provides instruction and preparation. Issuance of a commercial learner's permit or commercial driver's license and the results of any knowledge or skills test are determined by the California DMV. Job placement assistance is provided, but employment is decided by employers and is not guaranteed.
Student requirements
Students must meet DMV and FMCSA requirements applicable to the license sought, including age, a valid driver's license, a DOT medical certificate, and a commercial learner's permit before behind-the-wheel training on public roads. The School may pause or end training for safety violations, impairment, or failure to meet these requirements, as described in the Enrollment Agreement.
4. Regulatory status
Lincoln Trucking School is exempt from approval by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education under California Education Code § 94874(f) because all of its educational programs are offered for total charges of $2,500 or less and it does not accept federal or state student financial aid. See Legal & Disclosures.
5. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Enrolled students are bound by the Enrollment Agreement they signed, not by later changes to this page.
