What we collect, why, who we share it with, and your choices.

This policy is issued by Lincoln Trucking School, a California corporation ("the School", "we"), 10346 Locust Ave, Bloomington, CA 92316. It applies to this website, the student portal, our online chat, our forms, and information collected in person during admissions and training.
1. Information we collect
Prospective students and website visitors
- Contact details you give us: name, phone number, email address, messages sent through chat or forms.
- Technical data collected automatically: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring page, and similar server-log data.
Enrolled students
- Identity and eligibility data required for CDL training: legal name, date of birth, driver's license / commercial learner's permit number and state, mailing address, and DOT medical certificate status.
- Training records: attendance, hours, assessment scores, instructor notes, and completion status.
- Payment records: amounts paid, dates and payment method. We do not store full card numbers; card payments are processed by our payment processor.
- Portal login data: the identifier you log in with (CDL number or email), year of birth used for verification, session and IP data.
Employers
- Company name, contact name, phone, email and the job description you submit.
2. How we use it
- To respond to inquiries and manage admissions.
- To deliver training, keep the records required by federal and state law, and issue completion documentation.
- To submit training certification information to the FMCSA Training Provider Registry as required by 49 CFR § 380.717 (name, date of birth, license number and state, training completed and dates, scores).
- To process payments.
- To provide job placement assistance by sharing graduate contact details with employers only with the graduate's consent.
- To secure and improve the website and portal.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Who we share it with

4. Cookies and tracking
The website uses a session cookie to keep you logged in to the student portal. We may use basic analytics to understand site usage. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser; the portal will not work without the session cookie.
5. Retention
Student training records are retained for at least three years after completion as required by 49 CFR § 380.725, and longer where other law requires. Inquiry data from people who do not enroll is deleted or anonymized within 24 months. Employer submissions are kept while the posting is active and for up to 24 months afterward.
6. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on access-controlled servers. Portal access requires an identifier plus a verification step. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your personal information we will notify you as required by California Civil Code § 1798.82.
7. Your rights (California residents)
You may request:
- to know what personal information we hold about you and how it is used;
- a copy of that information;
- correction of inaccurate information;
- deletion of information we are not legally required to keep (training records required by FMCSA cannot be deleted during the retention period).
Send requests to admin@lincolntruckingschool.com or call 855-215-2668. We will verify your identity before acting and respond within 45 days. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights.
8. Children
Our services are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
